T measures magnetic field values using sensor built in phone. field level(EMF) 49μT(microtesla)(milligauss); 1μT = 10mG.
If there metal area, magnetic field should increase. Among other uses, be helpful electrical wires ground.

If t does properly, mean phone's sensors, broken-existent. , point a figure 8 pattern.
Sometimes a leather case magnetic "snap" unwanted results. Remove accuracy.
